ABOUT WELCOME PROJECT
Collecting Stories to Make a Difference
The University of New Haven Welcome Project is a collection of short video and audio interviews with students, faculty, staff, and members of the community, where the interviewees reflect on the challenges and opportunities of living and working together amidst increasing diversity. We interview individuals at the University of New Haven and the surrounding area about their experiences of belonging or not belonging and edit the interviews into short clips for the website. Each short clip will be accompanied by facilitation questions that can be used to launch meaningful discussions in classrooms, workshops, trainings, and more. This work is ongoing...
Inspired by the Valparaiso University Welcome Project, the University of New Haven Welcome Project has two main goals: community building and enhancing understandings of diverse others.
